The Planning Division conducts long-range planning for future growth in the city, reviews and manages new development, subdivisions and redevelopment plans to ensure projects comply with the city code and Comprehensive Plan. Additionally, assists the Planning Commission in reviewing current development projects. 

Staff can be reached regarding sign permits, property setbacks or easements, performance standards, city code interpretation, zoning regulations, conditional use permits, platting, rezoning, street vacations, and variance.

Application packets include the application, a submittal requirement checklist and a procedural guide for your reference. The completed checklists should be returned to the Community Development Department along with all required materials. Application deadlines and meeting dates are reflected in the Planning Commission Calendar
