The semi annual Clean Water Clean Up events are typically held in the spring, and again in the fall, in City Parks, removing buckthorn and leaves to help with water quality. Volunteers are needed for this family-friendly event. Volunteers should bring work gloves, rakes and buckthorn removal tools to the event. This event is co-hosted by the City of Prior Lake and the Prior Lake Spring Lake Watershed District.

The Police Lake Police Department, Fire Department and Allina Health organizations are happy to invite you to a family friendly Bike Safety Rodeo!

This free event will allow children ages 3-12 to show off their bike safety skills, have their helmet fit tested, and enjoy a bike obstacle course! As well as having an up close and personal view of first responder vehicles!

Event Location: Hidden Oaks Middle School, 15855 Fish Point RD, Prior Lake, MN 55372

Event Date: Saturday, May 4 from 11am-2pm. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. Register online at www.priorlakemn.gov/recreation

Bring your helmet and bike to participate and be entered into drawings for prizes!

This is a family-friendly open house event to celebrate National Public Works Week.

Come explore the vehicles that help maintain our city.  Kids (and adults) can climb in the equipment and learn more about the day-to-day activities in Public Works. You can even help paint a snowplow and take a turn in a construction-themed bounce house!
