The Minnesota Government Data Practices Act (MGDPA), Minn. Stat. § 13, is a state law that controls how government data is collected, created, stored, used and released. The MGDPA sets out certain requirements relating to the right of the public to access government data and the rights of individuals who are the subjects of government data. HOW TO MAKE A DATA REQUEST:

 

Please review the city’s Data Practices Policy and complete the Data Request Form. Be sure to enter a detailed description in box #6 of the information you are looking to obtain. Email the completed form to Police@PriorLakeMN.gov along with a copy of your identification if you are requesting non-public information.

Meetup Spot Location

The Prior Lake Police Department's east parking lot now serves as a internet purchase exchange location known as a “Meetup Spot”. Cameras have been installed to offer live recording of the parking lot for people looking for a safe location to conduct internet transactions.
