The Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting a public forum for Prior Lake Mayor and City Council candidates on Tuesday, Oct. 1, ahead of the upcoming General Election on November 5. The forum will offer community members an opportunity to learn more about the candidates and their positions on key issues affecting the City.

- Location: Prior Lake City Hall, 4646 Dakota Street SE, Prior Lake
The event will be hosted and moderated by the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce and is open to the public. It can be viewed on the City’s cable channel and at priorlakemn.gov/pltv.

Mayor Candidates: The candidates vying for Mayor are Kirt Briggs and Kevin Burkart. The Prior Lake Mayor serves a four-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2025, and ending on Dec. 31, 2028.
City Council Candidates: The candidates vying for City Council are Zach Braid and Ethan Hellier. The Prior Lake City Council has two seats open that serve a four-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2025, and ending on Dec. 31, 2028.
