The "Wednesday Night Live" event is a series of free live music performances organized by Club Prior & Scott County Library. These events occur every second Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8PM. No need to register, just come and enjoy!
January 10: Performance by The Roe Family Singers, known for their traditional versions of songs with a unique twist. The band features a banjo, autoharp guitar, washboard, and Appalachian clogging.
February 14: Tjärnblom, a Scandinavian-style string band will perform. The band's name, which means "woodland lake flower" in Swedish, reflects their beautiful blend of Nyckelharpa, Octave Mandolin, Harmonium, and Cello.
March 13: The Pan-handlers Steel Drum Band will deliver a diverse set, with their song list including everything from The Beatles to Bob Marley, and from traditional to modern music.
April 10: Nationally renowned Celtic music master, Brian Miller, will perform. He explores Minnesota's history through his music, featuring songs from lumberjacks, Great Lakes sailors, railroad workers, and farmers.
The event venue is located at 16210 Eagle Creek Ave. SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372. The performances are partly funded by the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Fund.
